Once a woman attacks me, sex and etiquette go bye bye and she becomes fair game for all my wrath.

You know, i want to say all the stuff about minimum force, leaving the situation, etc etc, etc because i know that they are sensible, also dont want to glorify violence in any way especially towards women there is far too much of it about.
However, something inside still says that if you intitiate combat man or woman you have decided that "it's on" so "its on" till "its over". One good stiff jab in the face will make it "over" quicker than any other method i know. Not many women will want another one and they will get the message that you will not be bullied, where as the psycho wrestling matches could go on for months using minimum force.
Thats awful insnt it? and i can never imagine actually doing it but nobody should attack another and expect impunity or quarter.
Surley a woman would not be expected to suffer violence without reply if she were a karate practitioner or some such and gave her assailant a quick punch. Why should it be different for a man just because he is more naturally equipped

stupid boys hit women because there cowards. It takes a man to walk away. I know that there are some women out there that can really push there men to the limit or even hit and abuse the men as well but as i said it takes a man to walk away. I do know how unfair this may sound as men are naturally fighters and women know this so some like to push their man just to see if they can get them to hit them so they can then turn around and say "but he beats me" and that is so unfair. domestic violence is equally wrong in both sex´s so the answer is if your a man and you are being pushed or hit by your wife\gf then walk away. you will feel better for it in the long run

This is an excellent question, and I've asked it myself a few times. I wass brought up with the UNBREAKABLE rule that no man should ever, ever hit a woman, and I'm happy to say that I never have.
But I think that women are getting more and more aggressive towards men, acting like men and even attacking men nowadays safe in this knowledge that men cannot hit them back, or if they do (in self defence) then they (the woman) are instantly the victim no matter what they did to provoke it, and the men are demonised.

I never thought so until I was in that situation. My GF had hit me around the head with fists on a couple of occasions and even threw stuff at me. She slapped my face and so I grabbed her and threw her down. I made sure I wasn't to violent but I was terribly guilty afterwards because I lost control and could have done much worse. I do not find my actions acceptable and I do not feel justified because of what she did. Never the less, she hasn't attacked me since and I made it clear that if she did I would leave her.

I would say yes most definitely. Why should we as women think we have the right to hit out and then be angry and indignant when we get hit back? I would expect to be hit back if I hit a man especially if I was going berserk and hurting him.
However nobody whatever their gender has the right to hit another human person or animal for that matter.x

Yes. Anything in self-defence (provided its proportionate to the threat) is acceptable. However, I would be concerned that men who like to bully and abuse women would use this excuse in a law suit and then it would be one party's word against the other. It has been shown in many sexual violence cases that men's stories are more likely to be believed than women's (very few men are ever convicted of rape and yet 1 in 4 women will experience it in their lifetime). But maybe it is our attitude towards women that needs changing and then they would at least get a fair trial.

Answer: It does all depend on a whole variety of circumstances.
The simple answer and the the simplest of answers is 'No.' But then, that question also implies that is Ok for a woman to behave in the way that is being denied to the man.
The better phrased question would be: 'Is it Ok for one human being to hit another'?
Clearly, the 'No' answer would be in error because it is clearly refusing the right for one person to defend its self from another through the means of force (which has by definition, to imply somew level of violence).
If the man is 'defending' his self, or another, for that matter, then it would be Right to use violence (hitting) WHOEVER it was that was attacking.
