K inetic energy was a phenomenon that was coined to describe a mass that has been already formed into a structure which is now moving in a particular direction. Hence Kinetic energy has direction.
Kinetic Energy is an average motional Energy and is equal to the final energy divided by two.
The final motional energy of a moving mass structure is as follows; Efi = M x Vfi ^2
Where Efi is the maximeun energy that the mass used during its motion.
Vfi is the maximun velocity that the mass has reached during its motion.
M is the quantity of mass inside the structure.
If a mass structure is at rest =Kinetic energy equals zero;
However the micromasses inside the mass structure are still moving and have an angular momentum which is not zero.
The fact that the internal angular momentum exists, means that there is internal motional energy responsible for holding together the mass into a structure having a particular containment.
So a mass structure is never really at rest because everything inside is still moving.
A rest mass should actualy have been called an undisturbed mass(means no change in atomic temperature); therfore an undisturbed mass internal structure would not change and remains constant.
In reallity no mass structure is really at rest.
The mass content of the Universe is in continuall motion.
When a mass is in motion it is said to have energy.
Momentum by definition is equal to Energy of motion divided by velocity that the force is moving as a function of state of the mass. So if A mass has no energy of motion ;then it has no linear directional momentum.
Hence a rest mass of Zero velocity has no motional energy.
And an Entity that has no mass has no momentum or Energy.
The reason is that the product of zero mass times the velocity of light square ,simply equals to zero.
Its very vely simple.

a million. Momentum = Mass x speed Kinetic means = (a million/2) x Mass x (speed^2) with the point to Kinetic means to be 0, the only variable that should replace indoors the formulation is speed (mass is mounted given which you're actually not consisting of or taking away mass from the kit), so speed = 0. presented that speed = 0, then momentum = 0 2. the two ought to prefer to be the two as ordinary to snatch. The bowling ball could be shifting very slowly and is heavy. The baseball could be shifting very very immediately, and is gentle. 3. wood flooring "grant" a sprint. they are going to bend a small fraction of an inch. This action gets rid of a superb variety of the flexibility of the tip results of the glass. Concrete strikes little or no, so each and all the kinetic means as a results of falling glass is then used to break the glass upon effect.

NO. Momentum is a vector so it can be zero if the bodies are travelling in opposite directions while kinetic energy is a scalar and is not zero in such cases. Think of an exploding device. The total momentum is zero before and after detonation but the K.E is definetly not zero as pieces of it are flying everywhere.

No. Because you included a word "system" in your question. Total momentum is calculated as p=m1v1+m2v2 (for two particles), so if one is moving in one direction, another in opposite, total momentum is zero, but kinetic energy of those two is not equal to zero.

total momentum of system is 0 only when either of two i.e mass or velocity is 0.
p = mv ;
k = 1/2 x mv^2 = 1/2 p v
if p = 0 ==> k = 0 ;
