how the jurors are elected? I mean who is eligible for being in the jury?
I'm from Iran and we don't have jury system in our country, so I don't have enough information about it.

Everyone is required to be available for jury. Unless:

You cannot speak or understand English.

You cannot serve because of a physical or medical disability (You must provide a letter from your doctor).

You are 70 years old or older and do not want to serve.

You already spent a day serving jury duty in state court during the three previous years OR you are scheduled to serve in the near future.

You have been convicted of a felony during the past seven years OR you are a defendant in a felony case now.

You are in jail or prison.

You are a State Senator or Representative and the legislature is in session.

You are a judge of the Superior Court, Appellate Court or Supreme Court, you are a judge of probate or you are a federal court judge.

You are not a citizen of the United States.

You will have jury duty in Iran in the next 10 years or so.

Jurors are drawn from the registered voters in the community.
They are periodically called to serve.
Jurors are selected from this 'pool` by both the
attorneys in the case according to a complex
set of rules designed to assure that the panel
chosen is not biased in the case.

everyone on the electoral roll is eligible. they are sent letters requesting them to join a jury at random. they can only say "no" if they have an essential job that prevents them from joining (e.g.: surgeon). jury duty is just that - a "duty", and important part of being a citizen in a democratic society.
