In the past many became exemplary patriots on empty stomach.
In present day system, I doubt very much as stomach is given first preference.

A patriot can not sell his mother land /country just to fill his stomuch. Can not then one be patriotic with an empty stomuch? All partiots have starved and had empty stomuch only and all unpatriotic people have had their stomuch filled to the full.
