Do you believe that the US would be right to invade Iran? How likely is it that we will within the next year? Would you support it?

Or would you start a revolution to remove Bush from office yourself?

Would it make a difference if there were a terrorist act that gave us pretext for invasion?

I don't see what the big deal is about Criss Angel.

Bush has had the American public mesmerized by his sleight of hand tricks for years. He pulled an election "win" out of his azz in 2000. He abra ca dabra'd the U.S. into Iraq & before he leaves office he will pull a 'lame duck' hocus-pocus & we will be in Iran before the end of his term.

And I don't put anything past the Bushies. If they were able to embellish info to justify the Iraq occupation, I can only imagine what they will manufacture to warrant the invasion of Iran.

The current war on terror is devestating everything about America. Our national debt is currently at $9 trillion, the 35th largest in the world. The lives of over 3,700 U.S. troops have been sacrificed. When will enough be enough?

It's a complicated question. We should not invade, if all we have to worry about is Iran using the weapon. Iran knows only too well the consequences of its use by nuclear warfare. The country would end up a wasteland.

But what if Iran turns over such a weapon -- along with the capacity to deliver it -- to a terrorist organization -- without real estate at stake -- that would use it as a mean of communicating its enmity against the rest of the world? That would be a foolish mistake by Iran, but such a thing is certainly possible. And that capability is spreading around the world.

Can we prevent that without an invasion? Yes. Can we prevent it without an Air Force bombing run? Maybe. We might be able to inspect all vehicles and ships leaving Iranian territory. But if we can't.....

We need to develop a new anti-proliferation strategy. It is inevitable that the rest of the world will soon be capable of producing nuclear weapons. We will soon be no longer able to say, in effect, we can have them but you can't. It may be necessary to make radical changes in our dealings with the rest of the world. But there is considerable doubt that we are capable of doing so. We can't stop the forward march of innovation around the world, but we can take away the motivation to use it to resolve conflicts.

Mr. Bush has so exhausted our current regular troops, and our reserve troops and our National Guard( who were never meant to serve out of the US States)that such a move is NOT POSSIBLE!

They are going to have to Restart The Draft! George Bushman will be to Blame! Don't bother Protesting this! The USA does have to have an Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines!

The fact is no one in their right mind is going to enlist NOW! All they are getting is some GungHo Guys, a few nurses!

The current force has been worn out! They took a Great ARMY and Great Marines and they have Worn Them OUT!

The ones who haven't been worn out are Braindamaged, or posted elsewhere, or missing limbs, etc, etc, etc!

In my Opinion, Bush is a Very Bad Man--Not a Good Soldier, and he will do whatever he thinks is best to VINDICATE HIS FATHER!

We cannot have a revolution to Remove Bush unless he moves against the Military! I am a Veteran! When you are inducted into the Military(no matter what branch) you are told The President is in Charge Of YOU! You also learn how to do things that you don't approve of! NO WAY THE MILITARY WILL OPPOSE THE PRESIDENT!

The only hope we have is voting in people as far away from his Dictatorship as POSSIBLE!

If there were a terrorist attack here, the people who are Veterans would have to deal with it. Most of us do not have M-16's or anything like that!

BUT I BELIEVE we could Defend this USA! BEcause we have MANY VETERANS, and hunters, and country Dwellars and most all households hold WEAPONS! And now you see why it is a Very Good Thing that people have THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS, as guaranteed in OUR CONSTITUTION!!

They FORSAW this kind of thing, and didn't Leave US VULNERABLE!

A terrorist act? Like the Gulf of Tonkin incident that LBJ faked to get more troops into Viet Nam?
No, thanks.

Iran's people love America. That little howler monkey of a president has no control or power over military matters. That lies in the hands of the ayatollahs.

Iran is no threat to anyone. Iran has not invaded another nation in over 300 years. Saddam attacked Iran at the urging of the United States and USSR.

Now the question was yours and the count should be yours. As for as me I am an individual who add to your count. So I can not tell you how many will support or oppose such a move but can speak out my opinion.

I oppose. Reasons:
1. It has no Saddam Hussein there.
2. An attack might draw more attention and opinion building against US however, other countries might not favor Iran- Still votes against US.
3. Would create more chaos and dis-orientation if at all US is making any sincere efforts to restore peace in neighboring IRAQ.
4. Oil price would surge beyond imagination
5. Economies like India would suffer a huge loss and people would be driven to their ends.

I am sorry but I am a Bush supporter, so I won't be the one starting a revolution against him. I think he has done the best job possible with the information he gets, and the best thing he did was starting a war on terror. Go troops Go Bush!! someone needed to do it instead of just talking about the last 20 years or so and someone needed to make a stand against those who killed our innocent Americans on those planes and in the World Trade Center, and if he decided to hit Iran, I will support that too! Terror needs to come to an end and I hope he is the one to do it. Clinton is going to get us all killed I hope you all know. Iran is a scary country right now and if it means war! so be it! When men and women sign up for the military, war is what they are trained for so if you don't want to go to war don't sign up for the military!! I support our troops with my heart and soul, and if Iran is next! lets do it!

Oh crap! Why can't we just do the simple thing and clean things up in the world the quieter, easier way.....Ya, bring back the art of "ASSASSINATION"!

If we're still supposed to be the Big Brother, Protector of the Oppressed, the SuperPower.......and if we still want to be known as such.....then let's act like it!

Stop putzing around and just do what it takes to get the job done......

You know we have the men, the training, the tools, the technology.......everything we need to put the radicals of this age on a permanent "time-out".

Why does there have to be so much destruction--death of innocent people--shock and awe and all the fallout and aftermath of a giant bombing invasion?????

Look, just get Rambo, The Terminator, The Equalizer, The A-Team, and 007 together----ok, maybe a few others too----the Globetrotters.....McGuyver, Dirty Harry....... ya......Maxwell Smart and Agent 99!!!!!!......

Put the "Top 5 Idiot Extremist" list together, gather the intel, give the Team Google Earth in real time, a Blackberry, a GPS and a long range gun with heat sensing laser and a silencer............change their names to Mr. Pink and Mr. White, etc........oh ya, and give them goggles with night vision.........oh no, wait, better not, that would probably take an act of congress to get the funds.........

Ok, and lastly, all we have to do to get the job done is NOT announce to anyone who's doing it!!!!

That's right.....no committee hearings, no voting, no CNN reporters monitoring every little move........just do it!

Wouldn't it be nice if you're drinking your coffee on a Sunday morning and the news breaks in to say that "so and so, the Extremist Leader of..... was found dead this morning.....along with 12 of his top aides.........apparantly a successful assassination........"

And then sometime later on, another newsflash, "so and so, the Radical Leader of......dead......another successful......." Followed by "the people of.......held elections........political order restored........freedom........as they celebrated.........new trade ageements with neighbors.........peaceful futures......economic success...........celebrations continue.....

You get it! What is so hard about getting the job done using a stream-lined approach.........quietly......... Just take out the instigators, the top troublemakers....don't mess with their country, their resources, their religion, let their people do the rest.....

I think we should at least TRY the Big A method first, before resorting to bombs, innocent casualties and massive destruction.....

What would we have to lose......???

And it's not like the Extremists of this world don't use the tactic of assassination.....come on now, what's fair is fair, maybe it's time we fight fire with fire instead of FILLABUSTERS!!!!! How stupid is that!!!!

Ok, enough out of me........

Look, if China launched an attack tomorrow and knocked out the entire West Coast, it would take a fool to go to war because of it. Why? Because on day one we would all be 100% behind going to war. Day two would find some are opposed. By day three liberals all over America would be screaming about it and the Cindy Sheehan of that day would be leading protest against it. The poor sap who authorized it would be pulverized by the democrats and the media. No thanks, I'd just as soon learn Chinese than to have to listen to liberal babble about accidentally killing innocent Chinese people in retaliation for the purposely killing of our innocent people. I know you asked about Iran, but an invasion is not going to happen - at most we might have two or three days of bombing, and yes, I would support it. So would the Arab countries. America will NEVER win another war because of liberals! - so why fight one? Just give up and learn their language for the upside is that there would be no more liberals!

It's so painful to see how many Americans are so blind and cannot see history repeating itself. The same way Hitler said exactly what he was going to do before he did everything he did is the exact same way the leader of Iran is saying what he wants to do. He wants a NUKE and has stated a national policy to "wipe the Zionist entity off tha map". (He wants to bomb Israel). Hindsight is of course 20/20. How many politicians looked back with regret upon their inaction in the run up to WWII? How would the world be different if someone had done something to stand up to Hitler BEFORE he started the war that killed MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of people?

If the stated national policy of Iran was "live and let live" and "let's be good neighbors" then I'd be against an invasion but since they have a clear track record of hostage taking, state sponsored terrorism and now supplying and supporting Al Quiada in Iraq I say when will the maddness stop and who will stand up to stop it? If it has to be the US then so be it. Would I be willing to go BACK to war to support it? Well, since YOU won't, I guess I'll have to....again.

I'd support an invasion Iran if and only if they attacked the United States homeland. I think that Bush is laying the groundwork for at least a bombing attack and probably an invasion.

The US will have a new president in 500 days; no revolution is needed. In most respects, we are still a nation of laws.
