When I was about 15, I was trying to swat a bee that had gotten into my room and the darn thing flew to my light bulb, me not even thinking straight just swatted. I killed the bee and the bulb, had to grab a potato to get the light bulb screw out of the socket.

A number of year ago. It was one of those compact florescent bulbs. I just cleaned up the mess and put in a new bulb. Now were being told that a broken florescent is toxic waste because it contains mercury. Glad I don't live in the same place anymore because it's probably considered contaminated

I haven't yet. Certainly do not want to break one of those new compact fluorescent ones, I hear they have poisonous gas in them.
