It depends on each person,use time proof his sincerity. No one can tell how he is,let his doing tells you.

By asking him to be sincere with you from day 1....then take his word for it from day 1....
So how do I know if he's telling the truth....you'll simply have to take his word for it....until he proves himself otherwise....
Trust must be given freely.
If you go around suspicious of everyone then life would be filled with sadness.
But be smart about it....don't give your trust to everyone...

Get near with his friend and purposely be close with his friend then if he is jealous, it mean that he is sincere.

I think you can always tell if he looks you in the eye when he is talking.
BUT... the most important thing is if he always makes time for you. That's the most important thing.
You'll always know if a guy cares if he makes time for you. :D

It shows in his action and the way he will react to certain situations.Sincerety comes from the heart and with all honesty.
