James MIchner was one of the best known authors of books about people, his research and bios about the people he wrote about we're the best.

Get one book, Australia and the other Africa, I read both several times. He will relate in these books what happen and answer your question.

Nothing because they had to drink the same water , they couldn`t do much with the food sources without catching it first either !!
