I don't listen to a lot of pop music, but up until about two weeks ago I would have thought "Big Girls Don't Cry" was sung by Mandy Moore. I never would have guessed Fergie.

No, I don't. But then again, I've never heard her version of this song. But, I have a website, maybe you might be interested in looking at? Here is the site:
http://music.aol.com/artist/frankie-valli/5738/biography.

It gives all the info. behind this song, which was originally sung and recorded by Frankie Vallie, and he made this song go GOLD in his career! Hope this helps.

No I think she just wanted to give a different take on the song. She even credits Rihanna for singing it well. Mandy Moore isn't trying to take the spotlight at all. Her music careers been over for a long time. She was really a one hit wonder with "Candy" other than that her only other successfulness is her movie career.

Nah, Mandy Moore sounds younger. I agree though, it doesn't sound like Fergie either.

it was actually sung by a couple artists. Fergie just made it famous. She also wrote it.
