Yes! Just tonight.

I was by myself, making dinner. I had the pan heated up, turned my back for a second and something was causing smoke. Something was in the pan and nothing had fallen in and I was by myself....

An UNIDENTFIED FRYING OBJECT!!!

yup, seen two!

Now, realize that the U stands for Unidentified... if I tell you what I saw was spaceships from mars, then it isnt a U, right?

the first UFO was in broad daylight witnessed by dozens of people at the beach. Mid-summer, really hot and near noon brightness, we all saw a brightly lit shiny thing slowly heading north across the lake. after a while there a smaller one behind it.

[ rationally, i believe it was a plane, tho there was no noise, the sun was certainly bright enough to reflect off its wings from a great distance and shine on us. the second light was probably the vertical stabilizer, but as none of us KNOW... its Unidentified]

the second UFO was more fun, cause I was inna car late late at night. Not driving, my head was leaning against the passenger window, when i saw a cigar-shaped object surrounded by what looked like Christmas lights come over the trees. THAT woke me up! I moved to the opposite side of the car, but it had gone.

[remember... i was leaning against the window... maybe napping? i dont remember falling asleep and I swear i was awake, but who knows?]

With a bit over 4,000 hours in my log book, I've seen all kinds of things in the sky that I couldn't identify. All of them were, by definition, UFO's ☺

yep, it was dead over Long Island at night, I could see it up at altitude still in the way of the sun at night, someone said it was just a GEO-STATIONARY sattilite for weather, I said "Oh Yea, then how come it's NOT in the same spot every night" ? I never saw it again.... If you think that we are the ONLY life form in the universe, think again !

No, but the use of "an" in your question is grammatically correct but just seems off. Another mystery for the ages.
