Yes they have both, wings on angels come from your shoulder blades, not arms.

Honestly, that is a hard question to answer. But then, I personally believe in angles, both the living ones and the supernatural angels. The living angels are of course my family, my friends, everyone with a good heart. So definitely they have hands, but they don't have wings. But they are angels for me.

Then the supernatural angels. I believe they have both wings and hands. They were given to us to assist us, as they say, right? and I have experienced those assistance, though I can just feel it, and I know. Most of the accounts too of those who "have" seen angels say that they have both hands and wings, some without wings, but with hands...so they have both.

Maybe, it will depend too to what you believe. Faith can create anything right?

Western occultists who get into angelology either describe angels as pillars of light of certain colors having to do with certain correspondences to other occult ideas (such as the Kabalist planes) or as anthropomorphic forms that have elements that are symbolic (that is kind of and color of their clothes are symbolic and what they might be holding ( a chalice, a sword, a staff, a shield etc are symbolic). Some forms of angels relate to myths about them (such as AA Michael--who is almost always shown slaying a dragon. Some people take the myth at face value and some read esoteric symbolism into it).

From very ancient times, certain types of spiritual entities have been equated with birds and so angels evolved in art and iconography to take the form of human beings with wings. This is just a convention developed by human beings. It is an example of an "archetype."

I had what some would call a vision. In this vision I saw an angel who had wings of gray and he had all the body parts including hands. I was in need of guidance and the angels I have seen in my life time are all just like us physically but with wings.

My mind is in no trouble and believing in angels and visions all comes down to faith. Visions have been around since the beginning of man and have been experienced by millions of people.

A good series out now is "Saving Grace" on TNT at 10 PM. It is about an angel called "Earl" who is Grace's guardian angel trying to save her from her wild ways and etc.

I liked your question very much and I wish to give you a star.

I hope me sharing my vision will help you to get a picture of what I saw and how the angels look.

To make your question viable, you first must prove that angels exist at all. Is there any physical evidence that Angels exist. Isn't it possible that someone saw a bunch of storks high in the skies of Israel, they do migrate down to Africa through that area in winter. Are there any remains or living specimens of Angels.

I'm not being any nastier than the answers I get from Christians about fairies, dragons and Elves.

angels dont actually have wings, or bodies... angels are simply his devine will on earth.

medievul man gave them wings because thats how birds fly. flying being hte only way to get to heaven. It fits their perception of the world better.

The Bible does not say that all angels have wings. We are only told that the Cherubim and Seraphim have wings.

It seems as though they were borrowed from our aviary friends so I would guess at least some of them do.

hmm., I think when they r in their original form, they don't need physical limbs & stuff... I don't even think they have wings.. unless they want to specifically prove they are angels..then perhaps they have both... that's what I think...

I never could have guessed that so many people have actually seen one.
I am really surprised. I would never have known.
