I mean he didn't torture and kill dogs like Vick did. He just illegally gambled like Vick did. Shouldn't he just be suspended for a couple of games and then give him his job back?

He's an east coast Irishman. Fixing basketball games is part of his cultural heritage!

Thanks for the morning laugh. I see the logic, considering the people defending Vick, but you make a great point in the comparison. Although come on some people want the lifetime ban of Pete Rose lifted. I'd be fine with baseball putting up a plaque saying All Time Hits leader- Pete Rose, and list however many hits. Then if anyone breaks it they could change the plaque. Just like if Canton wants to say most Yards rushing by a QB in one season for Vick that's ok. I'm fine with saying they accomplished this instead of striking their name from the books basically. Doesn't mean we need to let them back in. If I committed A FELONY I'd probably be fired.

To forgive is easy, to forget is the hard part! I am a Suns fan and I was angry for about six weeks after the game he reffed against the Spurs! As time passed I cooled off. Another example is Vick he destroyed himself with the dog fighting. Anybody who tries to pick him up is going to have to deal with the baggage he now carries! Will we forgive yes, but forgetting that is a whole other deal!

I agree 100%. Nobody watches the NBA anyway. It might as well be interesting. Fixing the games kind of levels the playing field (court). It would be a suprise with no clear favorite.

Brutha Stonewall,
I think what he did is not as bad as Vick. However, he did something that DIRECTLY affects the integrity of the game. I think he should be done.

He has an addiction and should not be trusted with that job. He should first ask for forgiveness, then possibly receive it. I believe in redemption.
