Daniel Carter - Position Flyhalf (All Blacks)
Carl Hayman - Position Prop (All Blacks)
Richie McCaw - Position Flanker (All Blacks)
George Smith - Position Flanker (Wallabies
Stirling Mortlock - Position Center (Wallabies)
Bryan Habana - Position Winger (Springboks)
Schalk Burger - Position Flanker (Springboks)
Sébastien Chabal - No. 8 (France)

Those are just a small list of names. I can't think of a lot of other stand outs

Carl Hayman. He is the best player in the world. May not rack up the tries but if you're a fan of scrums and the "think tank" that is the front row, then he is THE man to watch.

If you're into those fruity cocktails in the backs, then go with Dan Carter, Stirling Mortlock, Mils Muliaina, Habana, Sitiveni Sivivatu, Cryin Brian O'Driscoll... actually, just pencil in the entire NZ backline.... and the reserves!

Mexico is a substantial place, yet attempt the ecu tourist motel in case you're close to any. There are some all inclusives on the Carribean area which cater to Europeans, and have pimo satellite tv for pc provider. I observed a tournament in the bar at Blue Bay Lagoon in Cancun some years back. relatively worth calling around and asking.

Sione Lauaki - relatively unheard of on the world stage. he has been included on the NZ bench. This guy is huge (a fridge on feet) and an AMAZING rugby player, one to watch definitly.

There is an awesome video of lauaki running with the ball in one hand while picking up richie mccaw in the other and dumping him during a fend.

Numbers 1....to 15... in the New Zealand All Blacks team.( plus any replacements in same team)
Special enjoyment can be derived from watching Sitiveni Sivevatu ( 11) and Brendon Leonard ( 9 ) creating absolute havoc for the opposition.

If you want to see brilliant play when watching South Africa, forget Habana - every one will be watching him - the opposition included.
Watch Fourie du Preez, the best no 9 you will see at the world cup.

The teams to watch will be -

New Zealand
Australia
South Africa

and possibly Argentia.
