At my last place of employment, they combined annual vacation and paid sick days and called the resulting time you were not at work "Paid Time Off" or "PTO."

In your case "paid time off." The link is pretty long, like Pacific Theatre of Operations. I doubt your offfice is in ww2 era Pacific though.
