Aside of the myth that all U.S. Presidents (if it is U.S. you are talking about) are Irish descendant, it might be is difficult for any race instead of white to become President in U.S. as long as the government is under the white race supremacy. The same as how superior a white man is, he/she might never become a President in Japan. A black man might eventually will become President one day, as for an example Obama (regardless he is half white, half black) is a few step beyond any black man have ever accomplished in the Presidential election. Let's not forget the fact Condoleezza Rice sits as Secretary of State. Well, ten more years maybe? who knows? but we do know the chances are starting to open.

Why do you look at it in that way? Will a black man win? I thought the whole struggle for equality was for concept of racial blindness. Meaning, when we look at a person, his/her race truly do not matter. That is a truly noble goal, while probably will never be achieved, it is nonetheless should be strived for. Not the affirmative action route, pushing one particular group up while pushing another down, but instead bringing others up to the same level.
In direct response to your question tho, I believe we will have a black woman president in 2016. Bet ya 5 bucks?

Sure ..why not? the odds you mentioned but didn't expand..
Blacks are by numbers a minority HOWEVER any American can seek political office..
..Skin color has nothing to do with ANY individual HUMAN's ability, talent, mental acuity, desire, drive,intent.....
There are good/bad, -lazy//workaholics,
-courteous/rude, honest /liars,...etc. people everywhere!!
...WHY do some people make such a big deal out of skin color or eye color or "beauty" and then somehow think that a physical attribute somehow is the cause or excuse for the individuals success or troubles??
ANY human bent on achieving "x" or attaining "x" is one of the most powerful forces on the planet.

this is going to sound like taking aspects slightly, and that i ask for forgiveness if that seems to be the case; yet what i've got observed isn't precisely what you have defined. i think of the Republican occasion isn't entirely made-up of racists. They characterize an unestimable share, in spite of the fact that. in basic terms as a results of fact the Republican occasion does not consist entirely of non secular fundamentalists who define each and every international adventure which incorporate each and every presidential election as information of the arriving of the anti-Christ or a return of the Lord. back, how many, undefined. the priority, as I see it, isn't that the Republican occasion is entrely one component or yet another, of course that is not any longer. the priority is that there are no average voices in the Republican occasion who will stand-up and phone those issues what they are. to the different, the occasion and its strategists like Rove and Pearle, and its maximum vocal supporters like Beck, Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity, etc., definitely bait those communities or no longer less than inspire and enable them for political benefit. that is not any longer that the Republican occasion is entirely racist. that is absurd. the priority is that at a time while the rustic desires to enhance-up and rapidly circulate forward on a form of financial, kinfolk and international agendas, there are no grown-united statesleft on the Republican area of the aisle. The Democratic occasion, on the different hand, being a extra inclusive occasion, has a form of perspectives from extremely liberal to blue canines conservative, and commonly disagree with one yet another. that is in basic terms that Democrats often push the communicate on arguments of concern-appropriate substance somewhat than comparisons to Hitler, devil, Karl Marx and the leaders of Communist international places. i think of that is extremely a distinction.

This question is asked at the very wrong time when Obama is vying for the seat. Pu simply he is mixed Islam and Israeli and not negro as you would stated. What I am saying is he is not black as you would define him. He is American. The black will never stand chance and for that matter I doubt if the lady may stand chance to become the president of USA. It is one of the pride USA or Uncle Sam holds. Man or call this Marlboro Man only to come as the president and that he should be be wealthy . The rich are many but ti give out for the cause I doubt the Black who are used to graft all over the world and a chance of standing as the President of USA or for that matter in non African couturiers. Yes , but not Obama, he is not what America needs, and his color has nothing to do with it, he needs more experience. Job as President of the US is not a training position, so him and Hillary both are not qualified. I would vote for Colin Powell or Condi Rice, shame they are not running.

As with ANY RACE, blacks can either overcome the stereotypes against them or wallow in them.
I think the only thing preventing a black man from becoming president is that black man. In this day and age, and in this country, your future is in your own hands.

Definitely. I would have voted for either Colin Powell or Alan Keyes or a black woman Condi Rice. I would not vote for Obama because he is too far left.

Just have to find one who is not a ultra Lib like Obama or a race hustler like Jesse & Sharpton. Give people a normal Non blowhard like a Micheal Steele in Maryland or Lynn Swan in PA and yes, they are electable.
