um it circles around the earth.......................

It's where it's always been, in the sky. Because we're past Full Moon (on August 28) the Moon is in the morning sky. Where I live, in Ontario, Canada, it rose last night at 11:57 p.m. EDT and will set this afternoon at 4:52 p.m. Currently at 8:06 a.m. it's 72 degrees high in the daylight sky, almost due south.

The moon used to be here, as part of Earth. Now it's a quarter million miles away.

its stayed mostly where it is now. one of the three ways the moon as believed to be formed was an object with a density like mars plowed into earth and it broke off and formed the moon. long long ago, millions of years ago the moon was much closer to the earth, but it slowly moving away.

One more thing, if the moon where to leave life would cease to exist.

It's been over by Mars. Mars was over here in August for the two-moon party so the Moon thought it would be nice to go over to Mars for a while and give them a big 3 moon wingding.

The moon could have formed at the same time that the earth did, out of the ring of dust, gas and debris that broke away from the worling cloud that eventually condenced down and became the sun. or it could have broken away from the earth in a violent colision and then got cought up in the earths gravity.

Scientists say the moon broke off of the earth but did not escape earth's gravity.

Yes I have been wondering the same thing .
If anyone finds it please return it to your nearest police station or lost and found department.
Or you can just put it right back where you stole it from quitely, no questions asked.

I need it back by the end of its current cycle as I will need to transform again. I have some people I need to bite...
