Im giving away T.J. Houshmanzadeh and Chester Taylor for Terrel Owens. My WR's are Torry Holt and Randy Moss. And Chester Taylor is my No.3 RB off the bench. Any thoughts?

You're doing a good thing if you have another decent #3 RB on your bench.

I would do this trade. TO is going to be a dominant receiver like always and likely rake in 13-16 TD's and over 1,000 yards. Chester Taylor will not be the starter after about week 5 or 6 when it is clear that Peterson is the better back.

Holt and Moss leave you plenty of depth at receiver behind Owens. You shouldn't have too hard of a time finding a new 3rd RB either.

Let me start by saying that I think T.O. will have a monster year and be the #1 scoring WR by a lot.

With Holt and Moss, those are pretty much two upside guys this year. Holt and that knee injury is kind of scary seeing the way he played this preseason. But, he is Torry Holt and, he's been one of the best over the last few years. However, superstars have fallen further than he possibly could this year. Moss could be king of the NFL, but he may have too many things working against him; His mindset - he's not going to be the go to guy in New England(no one will be) and if he isn't mentally prepared for that you could be in for a long year with him. Brady doesn't have that killer arm to throw it 60 yards and just let Moss go get it. Lastly(but I could go on for days on why I don't think Moss will do weel this year) - he hasn't played all preseason and has hardly practiced. If you ask me, it's some kind of crazy ploy by Belichek to keep Moss a secret and maybe they've been practicing at night or something, but if he hasn't been training under the cloak of darkness then he's most likely not ready. Housh also has question marks, but I don't think as many as Moss and if you could and would be willing to put Moss in there over Housh, I'd do that instead.

Not to say I would do the trade because I'm not too sure about Peterson staying healthy. Everyone's afraid of him staying helathy and with good reason. If Peterson goes down, all of a sudden your #3 RB turns into a stud and you could get T.O. in a trade without giving up one of your questionable WR's.

With all that being said, I don't think I'd do the trade even if it was Moss instead of Housh. Taylor has too much of an upside to give him away before the season starts. Adrian could get injured on the first snap of the game. Hell, he's gone down in a college season opener before, and for the entire year. Stick with who you have for the time being, but if you decided to go with the trade I couldn't blame you at all. I love T.O. this year.

2 for 1 ? You may be giving too much away for a receiver who needs to make a comeback this year. Understand one thing about Dallas, they are loaded with WRs. Crayton had an excellent pre-season, and there are 2 new faces (Stanback and Hurd) They may keep Urban as well (he ran a punt back 95 yds in last game). With Glenn out early, Phillips may look at the whole bunch. Bottom line - a lot of receivers who may play early. Owens is still #1 but his touches could be limited. Housh may become #1 for CINN. Taylor has a little value. He is MINN top RB but I assume you have 2 that are better.

To me, Owens straight up for Housh is fair.

Owens getting injury prone.

It really depends on the rest of your team. How solid are your running backs? Who else do you have? If you can look at your running backs and say, "Damn, I'm comfortable" then pull the trade. However, even if you're just slightly iffy about your running backs, I would not do this trade. TO is good, but so is TJ. Of course he is no TO, but he really isn't that much worse. I find Housh to be a very reliable and consistent receiver. Especially with Holt there, you wouldnt be receiving a huge upgrade. Basically, this trade all depends on how solid your Running back situation is.

Touch choice. TJ is really good in the red zone...as is TO. The thing Is that i don't think TO is chester Taylor much better than TO. Wait till this first week. If Adrian peterson finds his sea legs quick, pull the trigger.
