I don't think clown fish can get pregnant by themselves, so unfortunately your fish is probably sick. Is it eating normally?, or have you been putting anything different or unusual in the tank? If it is very old, it may be about to die. Generally a clown fish's lifespan is only about 5 years (but they can live up to about 8 with proper care). I have never heard of fish swallowing stones before, but is it possible you overfeed it? I thought my fish were dying because they have huge stomachs, but when our pond cleaner came, he told me it was because my dad overfeeds them and they are obese.
Fancy that, I never knew you could have obese fish.
How long have you noticed this problem for? I would call a vet or fish specialist and ask them for their opinion though, as they can probably give you the most informative answer.
Hope it is okay :)

The grayish color may be due to overproduction of the slime coat caused by a parasite. See this link for examples, but this sounds to be like your fish may have Brooklynella: http://home2.pacific.net.ph/~sweetyummy42/disease.html If this (whats on the face of the blue fish, or this clown: http://home2.pacific.net.ph/~sweetyummy42/Brooklynella1.jpg) is similar to what your fish looks like, click on the name of the condition in red, and it open a link with information on the treatment.
The bloated stomach may be due to overfeeding, or a bacterial infection. You can find info on this in the first link above as well.

Sounds to me your fish has ingested a stone from the bottom of the tank. Call the fish store and ask what you can do to fix the problem. I remember as a kid we had an angel fish who did the same thing...whatever we did worked, and the fish survived.

A bloated clownfish is usually a sign of bacterial (bladder) infection. The grayish scales could also mean bacterial skin infections (your fish losing slime). Your fish could be very sick and you should quarantine him from the other fish so you can treat him without affecting the other fish, and so if he dies the other fish don't catch his bug when they try to eat him. I suggest taking him to an exotic pet veterinarian to make sure, or call one for advice.

I hate clown fish pre-Gant. I must have missed something because I thought a sotmach was a razor.
Or does your fish shave?

No, they are not a sexual or a hermaphrodite.
They need a male and they will stay with that one male only.
