Yup! Millions of kids going to college in hopes of getting great paying jobs or CAREERS! Not likely! It's a mistake. Very few of those going to college even want to go. It's become a scam that it will do anything for you or your life. Sad really. I know many college grads who are as thick as a brick and know nothing but they have a degree.

One can't just take a diploma and shout to the world, "Hire me! And pay me good!" Not anymore....

With a degree in economics and mgmt, it sounds like you got the right ingredients for a desk job at a corporate world. With a degree like that, I would try an investment firm or might study up for PMP.

Sorry that you had such a bad experience, but I haven't seen many college grads in the current economy having to settle for jobs like that.

Exactly!! I guess it depends on the major though, but nobody I know that's graduated had gotten a really good job,let alone a job for their major.

because most decent paying jobs require you to have a university degree.
Those who graduated and now working a crappy job probably needs to look harder for a job in their major.
or either htye should have thought twice about what they should have majored in.
