What About the Boise State Broncos?

Many of you have been saying over and over again that Boise State doesn't deserve a shot at the BCS championship. You say their Schedule is "Weak" You say the big schools play tougher opponents. You say Boise State wouldn't stand a chance. I will continue to say what I've been saying all along, that the big schools are Afraid to face BSU for fear that they will lose to us and spoil their chances at the national title that they (the big monied schools) will not give us a chance at. You all have been saying I'm wrong.

AND THEN IT HAPPENED!!!!!

The University of Michigan loses to Who??!!! Appalachian State? Never even heard of them!! But they knocked UofM out of the AP top 25 poll and proving the validity of my contention.
So I ask again, when will BSU get the respect it deserves? 5 Straight WAC titles and a Fiesta bowl win in the most exciting college footbal game ever played is nto enough? Oh Please.

In fact, most of my asked questions have been about BSU. So its not a matter of waiting 9 months to say something, Ive been saying it for a year now and now because of the fall from grace that UofM has suffered you can finally understand what "I've been saying all along"

What are you smokin Beldin? Get real! Oh please. Appalachian state might do well in the WAC and vice versa, but I don't believe for a moment that one conference is THAT much different than another. The main difference is the money, and the members of the BCS are absolutely DETERMINED to keep the money in their conferences. It pays for scholarships. It pays for Stadiums. It pays for equipment. It buys most of the best high school talent available. MOST. Not all. And THATS THE POINT! Its about the Benjamins. So BCS teams don't, will not, schedule games against BSU because they will lose MILLIONS of dollars (over the course of a season after a loss) in revenue if they lose to BSU and gain NOTHING. They have decided among themselves to keep the money and exclude the rest of college football.

Thats the Point. It is now a members only club, the club of BCS teams. The Good Ole Boys Club.

I agree with you. I am a Utah fan and the same thing happened a few years ago. Unfortunately the fall from grace has been huge, but the big schools are afraid of the supposed mid-majors. Nothing to gain in beating them, but a world of hurt to lose to them. Utah and Boise St. have done it the hard way. Go BSU, ride it as long as you can.

Put Appalachian State in the WAC and THEY'D win it every year. The WAC is a joke compared to any BCS conference.

If you haven't heard of Appalachian State prior to this, then you obviously don't follow football closely enough.

Your little rants are cute, but be satisfied to be a big fish in a little pond. Last time you made a trip to play a big school (read BCS) at their place, Georgia tore you a new ****** in Athens (and history shows you got torn up in 2002 in Fayetteville, 2001 in Columbia and 1999 in Los Angeles at the hands of UCLA). Seems like the BCS schools won't play Boise State because they're tired of beating the crap out of you.

Yeah and plus Michigan already beat Wisconsin so as that doesn't paintings too nicely. Oh and did no longer USC fall to lowly UCLA, in spite of the fact that, because they beat Michigan they are gods. Boise State beat one good team in that of Oklahoma. Ohio State crowned off 2 #2 communities in Texas and Michigan, plus 24 Penn State and a 13 Iowa, and lost one sport (in spite of the fact that it became into grotesque) Michigan beat #2 Notre Dame, ruled in the final public of their video games, fell to the arms of the #a million team Ohio State by using 3, and losses a 2nd to a #8 USC Florida merits #a million after this victory this evening LSU lost to Florida and Auburn, had a fluff time table, yet did beat out Tennessee and Arkansas, dominates Notre Dame (which Michigan and USC the two did already this twelve months) and you're saying they deserve a countrywide identify shot???? Wisconsin became right into a solid team and merits in the best 5. think of previously you rank. Boise is superb, no longer astounding, yet ok. USC is extremely dominate "maximum" of the time yet has had too many close calls with subpar communities and lost two times in the season by using slightly extra beneficial than common communities.

remember how BC, VT and miami went to the acc, then some schools moved up to the big east from the c-usa? if the pac 10 ever goes to a championship game (big 10..er 11 is thinking of adding 1 more), then you can join the pac 10 and you'll be a big boy and maybe play for a NC. otherwise you'll have to just schedule all your non conference game against top 25 opponents, destroy them, and then pray for alot of upsets and 1-2 loss teams... you still have to get in the top 2 bcs standings regardless of your record..

Looking forward to that Boise State/ Wyoming game in a few weeks. UW smoked Virginia last week. I like BSU but Uw is my alma mater. Wish them well in all other games, except that one.

I hope you get your wish...still ROFLMAO over that Michigan game...I'm a USC, Pitt and Penn State fan...but that was great...they need to find a way to make schedules more fair.

Like every smaller school gets to take on # 20 to #25 and if they can bring in a win...go again.. IDK...something...
