It's not only women who like them, I know a lot of guys who like laptops. They're portable and easy to carry around.

I love having my own computer. I don't have to share with my brother (who likes to load computers full of crap, use ALL the memory with his music files and games and loads viruses...) and I can communicate with my long distance boyfriend whenever I please. Not to mention I don't have to sit in an uncomfortable chair, I can sit in my bed.
I also bring my laptop to school with me because I can type faster than I can write so I use it to take notes and to organized school stuff. Built in wireless network so I can be online wherever there is an open router...in this case all the buildings on camus. I use it to watch movies on planes when I go see the boyfriend and long car rides.
Oh and by the way, men like them too. I see more men on campus with them than women.

A lot of people love laptop and some who don't, not just women. But they are easy to carry around, manage, and access.

I do like my laptop....but to tell u the truth....I'd rather be on the regular computer....I seem to go faster on the big one....crazy I know...but I do like sitting in bed as I type (with the laptop)....it's more comfy!

I prefer no laptop. I thought that laptops were more of a "man" thing.

I have back trouble so it's so nice to be able to lay down and be able to use it comfortably.
