When I was very young I got really sick.
I had a horrible fever that caused me to hallucinate. All of my hallucinations were snakes. I would scream in the middle of the night, and to this day I still cannot even look at a snake without freaking out.
So yeah, I guess you could say I'm afraid of snakes.

No, but I learned a little trick for deterring snakes. If you take a piece of tinsel and hold it up to a snake, it's like a mirror to them, and they slither away, because even snakes are afraid of snakes.

Handle snakes as part of my profession 6 days a week. Am not foolish enough to play with rear-fanged, cobras or other deadly snakes. I use common sense and show respect.

For some unknown reason I have this phobia about snakes. I can't even look at them on television! Just thinking of a snake makes me shiver!

Yes if I see one when I am walking yes.
If their in the presences of someone who knows what they are doing with the snake then no.

I dont much like them but they are a fact of life where I live over summer. Have had a number of encounters with them. My youngest son is terrified of them after jumping over the top of one when he was racing his motorbike. Just the mention of the word snake and he is gone.

Nope. But I dated a guy for a short time that was. We were outside when I found a cute little garden snake. I chased him with it. Man, what a sissy.

Not exactly afraid but fascinated. I let them pass if they cross my path. In my colony, snakes come out of their hideouts in monsoon and I have spotted them many times. They mind their own business if we mind our own...
