It depends on how the warrant was entered by the issuing Court. Warrants are entered with different "pickup radius's". They vary from County of warrant only, adjacent Counties, Statewide, regional, and Nationwide.
Some courts are aggressive enough they issue Nationwide warrants for Misdemeanor 1s. Some don't.

If for what ever reason someone runs a "wants and warrants" on you it will come back positive. And if as you state the warrant you have is for a serious misdemeanor it probably carries a fairly high bail. I.E. you probably have like a $25,000 warrant on you.
You will be arrested and held unless you can post bond or bail. The arresting agency will contact the warrant issuing authority and say "we have John Q. Dirtbag in custody on your warrant what do you want to do?"
The folks in Ohio will say either hold him, we'll be there to pick him up or who cares he's not worth the bus fare to come and get him. At which point you are free to go assuming you didn't break any Arizona law to begin with.

Probably not. Even though it is a "serious misdemeanor" it is still not a felony. Extradition is usually reserved for felony warrants. Some states won't even extradite for all felonies because it is just too damned expensive. That's one of law enforcement's "dirty little secrets".
In about 10 years you might actually be able to go back to Ohio worry-free because in a lot of states they clear old misdemeanor warrants after a given time period if they haven't heard from you.

I agree with msi_cord. You can be arrested but just because you have a warrant does not mean they are on a man hunt after you. For your sake, don't do stupid things and don't get pulled over. Your absolute best bet is to just suck it up and face the music. This will never go away. If you turn yourself in they may even drop some of the charges. But as long as your hiding from the consequences of your actions, you will be continually haunted by them. Not only that but your license can be taken from you and they can make it so you cannot get a license in any other state. Like I said before, your best bet is to turn yourself in and get it over with so you can move on with your life. once it's done you won't have to even think about it any more. Good luck and I hope you don't get pulled over, well at least until you have decided to suck it up and face the music.

Yep, a warrant from any state is reason for arrest everywhere else interior of america or its territories; and if Arizona has forwarded the warrant to Interpol (as they could do for intense crimes), you will be arrested and held in any united states of america in the international this is a factor of Interpol, e.g. Canada, all of Europe, loads of the middle East. Paraguay, down in the mountains of sunny South usa of america does not have an extradition treaty with the US for financial concerns IIRC. How's your German?

If they check your criminal record from Ohio, you most definitely can be arrested and extradited. Obviously, you will not be a priority to catch as this is a fairly minor charge, but if you happen to get pulled over for speeding or caught attempting to buy drugs again, you may be taken into custody.

The only way you will go back is if you have a bounty on you. As long as you did not post bail and not show up you should be fine. But you never know some bounty hunters will go for anything. The Ohio PD are not going to pay for you to be extratided, but this on your record may hurt you on future employment deponding on how stringent there background checks are.
