The people on that section are so rude! If these people are so religious and into God and such, why are they so miserable? They judge, they are rude, and the whole section is just not fun. Why are these religious people so frickin crabby. P&S kicks way more butt than that section ever could.

It is wierd. Like my Grandma, total Christian, retired school teacher, thinks that if I watch the "Davinchi Code" that I am sinning and it puts my faith in question.
It isn't only closed mindedness, but it is the desire to remain ignorant so that you never have to think about it. You do as you have been taught(brainwashed), and you never question.
It is so wrong. The ability to question, think, reason, examine, theorize, hypothisize, makes us human. Fish can't think and reason. I think it is blasphemous of us not to question things. Than we would be going againts our very nature. God knew we were curious. Why else would God put a forbidden tree in Eden and then tell us not to eat the fruit off of it. God knew we would do it, or else God wouldn't have put the tree there in the first place.
People would like you to think it was a test, but of course it wasn't. That fruit needed to be bitten. Otherwise people would never have procreated and Adam and Eve would still be the only Human beings(if they could live 6000 years(that is how old my Grandma believes the world is)(mainly because she thinks the scientist are making stuff up, it is all nonsense, she says).

Please do not assume that every person who is religious acts like this. Firstly because its not true, secondly because it makes you rude and judgmental as well. I know you aren't trying to be this way but you are being prejudice, just because one of a group of people act some way doesn't meant that everyone in that group acts the same way.
Understand please that not all people whom are religious are rude or judgmental.
Jewel- I'm sorry you've had that experience but please don't let it make you think everyone that you haven't met is. because we aren't. I personally don't think its my place to judge people, or too push my beliefs on anyone. I had that happen too and thats why I was so turned off of religion at a young age.

See, that's why I don't go over there. People who are Christians do NOT act like that. At least I don't. I have my beliefs and let others believe as they wish. What kind of witness are people who judge, scream and yell? It makes no sense to real Christians and a real one would not be caught dead in that hate ridden section. I learned that really fast!

I think judgement is the key. Each can say they are the one and only without compassion or ability to be open minded about other beliefs. I no longer visit that section.

i totally agree with u!!! those people are soo narrow minded and are soo rude....they can't accept other peoples' ideas and beliefs. that's why i'm never on that section. most of the time, i'm always on Polls and Surveys cuz this section is alot more interesting and fun.

I do agree with you! Once in a while you will find a good, honest person though. Don't judge them all!
