your_uncle_dodge is correct. 9 wins vs. 72 losses (including this season so far)

2000 - 0-11
2001 - 0-11
2002 - 2-10 (beat East Carolina at home and Navy on the road)
2003 - 4-8 (beat Western Carolina, Rice, and Georgia Tech at home and North Carolina on the road)
2004 - 2-9 (beat The Citadel and Clemson at home)
2005 - 1-10 (beat Virginia Military at home)
2006 - 0-12

Given that three of the wins are over I-AA teams, you could really say they have 6 wins in the past 7+ years.

God, is that pathetic. The next worst among BCS conference teams over the same stretch is Vanderbilt with 20 wins, then Baylor with 23 wins, followed by Mississippi State and Indiana with 25. Hell, no other I-A team is that bad over that stretch. Even Buffalo has won 12 games, and Florida International has won one less game since then, but lost 46 less. At the other end, Boise State has won 77 games over the same period, Texas 76.

Duke has a football team? I could have swore that died after "The Old Ball Coach" bolted.

All jokes aside, I'd say somewhere in the 15- 20 range.

I didn't think they even keep track of what their football team does, don't they just play basketball.
