I've done it many times - I enjoy it immensely.
I got a perfect score on Karaoke Revolution on the Xbox singing Time after Time. Woohoo!

I was stationed in Japan while I was in the military.
Karaoke is really big over there. I used to go every once in a while after work to hang out with some friends and we would sing anything from Nirvana, to Green Day, to whatever they had available.
Some clubs have a pretty decent selection on the latest stuff aswell as older stuff from the 70's, 80's and 90's.

Yes and city council with all the peoples support made a new law that I was not allowed to do it any more. So now I go out of town where people pay me not to sing.lol

i tried it at this mexican restaurant in southern california Acapulcos. I did Baby Got Back by Sir Mix a Lot. I can't wait to do it again. You just gotta be the type of person that's able to laugh at themself

one time I was in sonoma and me and my sister sang a thousand miles at a karaoke bar. it was SO embarasing !! but it was so much fun at the same time

Once or twice at a party or two. I'd rather write music than sing it, unless they're old songs or children's songs.
