Do you sometimes get the impression that people answer your questions without actually reading them? Then there are those who completely ignore your facts and declare that their position is right regardless. And of course there are those who are certain that everyone agrees with them and any appearance to the contrary must be the result of a conspiracy. Makes it a little clearer why our politics are so polarized. Nobody really listens. But you make a great point. The media are largely controlled by huge corporations who generally favor a conservative point of view. Liberal commentators have a tough time getting any kind of a foothold.

All the 3 major networks may be owned by conservatives , but there outlook is liberal. Are you really watching.?

I am sure most people get there political views from TV Guide.

The liberal damage is not done by opinion shows which are up front about their views, but by entertainment shows and movies which sneak their messages into their plots. Limbaugh & Hannity tell you where they are comming from so you can avoid it. They also show you the liberals hanging themselves by their comments not making things up like liberals so people can judge for themselves.

Also Hollywood ( a cesspool of liberalism and intelectual foolishness) is a constant souce of propaganda. ( subliminal)

You forgot Ann Coulter who makes fun of liberals as they deserve.

The only reason liberals get away with the idiocy they spew is because the media don't call them on it while conservatives are always under a microscope.

Yeah, we have the (outdated and decapitated) radio and ONE news station with 12% market share with 8 democratic ones trailing behind.

The local news is all liberal.
The local papers.
The world news doesn't follow a conservative template.

Yes. America has a huge propaganda engine. Problem is, it spits out about the same amount of everything from Oscar mayer ads to George bush's speech notes. Honestly, the media is like a bad egg, neither mama bird wants it in her nest, so they keep trying to put it in the others. Having the BIGGEST everything doesn't make you stronger. Coke has 54% marketshare 58% of americans say that pepsi tastes better. Does that make pepsi or coke the better beverage?

It doesn't, you need to drink it to know.

The one-party media is a myth.

What fedupray said. I didn't know the Murdoc changed partys either. lol Sean Hennity also has a co host who is a liberal Allan Combs and they both get equal time. They also both have their own radio shows. It doesn't matter to me what one station is or isn't I do my own research and make my own choices. And my conclusions are to be very brief Democrats have no ideas but they do know how to spend money and are good at governing as long as the people don't squawk about loosing more rights. The republicans have ideas but most of them are bad ones and they have no balls.

Oh you have got to be joking. The only conservative media working today is talk radio and Fox. Most of the network news reporters are overwhelmingly liberal as are the major newspapers. the reason why what you call the Conservative media is so popular is that most people are conservative and like these outlets. Unlike Airhead America that pushed for killing the President.

A bunch of neocons have seized on the fact that a small percentage of journalists do vote, and of that small percentage a majority usually vote Democratic, to "prove" that the media is liberal. Of course their conclusion is wrong for many of the reasons you point out. Also media ownership is corporate and conservative and journalists have editors and owners who make sure they conform to objective journalistic principles. So just because you may not have voted for Bush, a responsible journalist would not slant the stories to make him look bad, and an editor or director would make sure that didn't happen.
