I don't own a cell phone.. forgot to pay the house bill so yes I go quite often with no ringing.. 'cept for the hearing damaged I've suffered.. from way too loud of music..

It gets so bad over here that I will just let the answering machine get it most of the time and when I feel like emptying the messages I will. I've never in my life (and I'm 49) went that long with the phone. Is that normal?

I just wish that would happen in our house. I have a 13 year old handsome teenage son and our phone rings from the time he comes into the door from school until he goes to bed at night. It drives me "bananas". :o)
It isn't just young 7th grade girls calling our house, but my son also has many pals who call, also. As soon as he hangs up the phone from one call, the phone rings again. I am not exaggerating. :o)

Not usually. I hate the phone but there's usually at least a couple of times a day where it rings and it's some friggin salesperson or some neighbor I'd rather not have to deal with, etc. I cringe everytime I hear it ring.

I don't think I've gone a week. But my phone is used primarily for my parents to call. My friends call sometimes but we all are busy. Besides I see them at work almost everyday. Texting is used between my friends and I alot too. But lately not much going on. I changed departments and left my friends behind and they feel I'm a traiter. Go figure.

I cant go 10 mins without someone ringing me, the joys of having a work phone, my boss doesnt believe in night time or weekends

That would be FANTASTIC if that ever happened, but no... I don't like talking on the phone for long periods of time unless it is someone I admire lots.... And see very little or next to none.... Any other time it is much better in person except for those unwanted ones... Ugh!
