Not until the work is finished.

Yeah, I would approve, do approve, have always approved. The one stipulation I have is that we don't stop providing our troops with neccesary equipment.

It's naive to think that if we stopped war funding that 100% of the troops would be coming home tomorrow. There will still be a U.S. presence in Iraq (unfortunately, and for how long is anybody's guess), and I don't want them to be sitting ducks.

But yes, I support the notion of discontinued funding for the war in Iraq. We never should have gone there in the 1st place.

No, because even if that happens our troops would still be in Iraq even before they withdrew. I will not approve of anybody who thinks that our troops should be without the money to be properly supplied and equipped.

No! I want the elected officials to end the war not punish the troops.

You know thats what those jerks would do!

If it is the only way to force Bush to bring them home before he leaves office...Why should the next president have to clean up his mess?Plus it FORCES the Iraqis to take over thier own security!Plus it brings some troops back to their home bases in case of another national emergency like Katrina!

No. It is despicable that Congress voted for the war and now wants to take away their funding for merely political reasons.

No I would not approve of that. But I will approve if they want to cut spending on sorry social programs. A few come to mind. WIC, & Welfare.

Yes, they should keep funding it, funny how so many voted to go to war, now want to abandon the very ones they sent to fight in the war, to get votes. Makes you wonder who's side they are own.

First things first. It is not the will of the American people. No one has said they want us to leave if it means losing. Everyone wants the troops to come home. The right, and a great deal of this country, want that to be when they win. The left wants it to be in defeat.
The Democrats have deluded themselves into believing that they won the majority because of the war. While the handling of the war had something to do with it, the reason Republicans lost is because they became like Democrats. They were spending money, courting lobbyists and their corruption was the focus of the left (who actually tried to hide its own). Democrats had no plan, they hid what they wanted to do and now that they are in power they are trying to surrender. This will be their undoing.

All it takes is the Media to switch the good one, to the bad one, and people eat it up.

Give our troops what they need to win, not abandon them, just to claim they brought them home, defeated, a terrorist dream. If this happens, terrorist will follow them right back here to our soil.
