I don't know, but i sure hope not. I would not want my dad's girlfriend spankine me...or punishing me at all. It's definitely not her place, she's not my mother after all.
So if you're thinking of letting your boyfriend spank you child, you definitely shouldn't. It's not his place, he's not their parent. Discipling your children is your responsibility.

Generally, I don't have a problem with spanking as long as it doesn't leave any marks and as long as the person doing it has full permission of the child's legal parent or guardian. Still, even my dog does exactly as he's told and I don't have to smack him around, so I imagine anybody who has to slap a kid probably doesn't really know what he's doing.
