Single edged razor blade and some WD-40 to help with the glue.

You don't need goo gone, wd-40, hair dryer or other gimmicks. All you have to do is spray any glass cleaner on the sticker, let it moisten up. After that get a single sided razor blade a scape it off. Make sure you use the blade in a slicing angle motion to avoid scratches on the glass, that's all you have to do. I do it everyday at work to remove stickers off of new windshields and windows..Good luck

Note: If the sticker inside the back glass, its a hole different story.

Glass is virtually impervious to most things. Use a single-edged razor blade, preferably mounted inside a one-dollar scraper. Scrape the sticker off with it in small sections.
Don't try to peel it off in one big sweep. Just bump the edges of the sticker in short, small strokes. If there is any residue left, which there should not be, use a product called "Goof-Off". Let it set for a few minutes and wipe the stuff off.
You can actually use the Goof-Off and only the Goof-Off. It's just more expensive than a buck razor, but it works really well.
Don't get it on your skin, or you will have "Skin-Off". Use rubber gloves, and don't snort the stuff either, or you will have "Brain-Off".

If it is on the inside of the window be very careful not to damage the rear defroster.

If its on the outside a razor blade and some laquer thinner/mineral spirts, or other cleaner will work. No need to buy goof off if you have those other chemicals around.

Most modern glues are heat activated--so try a hair dryer to heat the thing up--then have a paint scraper handy to remove it as you heat it up--don't push like a gorilla--be kind of gentle.
