The East
OK, gotta start at home, the Leafs .
I'd give the edge to Philly over the Pens because of their fans.
Carolina, hard for me to get excited about this division but I have friends there.
The West.
Detroit might have a slight edge over Chicago. This one's pretty close, I'd have to watch a game and see who comes naturally. I like them both.
Edmonton, for their history, even if the dynasty is long gone.
Sharks / Coyotes.
Sharks, because, I like the city. It signifies (if driving south) you're almost out of the mess and can finally get some blood back into the finger tips. As soon as you get out of San Jose, you're in Gilroy (thats the garlic capital of the world, doncha know, mmm) Also seems to be an recurring source of Leaf players. Instead of sending them out to pasture they trade them to Toronto. And they give the impression its more about winning than making money.
Coyotes because of the underdog thing. Coach Gretzky. One of the nicest cities in the US.
Edge to the Sharks.
