I'm 16 years old.
I got a neighbor who's kid is also 16 years old with a 12 year old companion and other teenagers who hang out with him.
Me and my family have a car sitting on our lawn, and our neighbors shoot at it and destroy the windows with a bb/airgun. I couldn't prove it was them until tonight when i caught him in the act. He ran inside.
What should i do?
The police won't do anything without proof.
I have 2 air rifles, 1 airsoft pistol and 1 pellet pistol. Should i shoot at their windows?
I'm really wanting to shoot back, but i wanna know what my other options are first.
And yes i have thought about the consequences. Each one. So don't remind me of them.

Now I'm not exactly a role model for people to follow, but I would put fear in those neighbors. Go over to their house and beat the living **** out of the responsible people. Tell them if they ever set foot on your property again, that you'll kill em. I know the consequences, and sometimes a man has to be a man.

i would try to set up a video recorder and catch them in action , maybe get another neighbor /friend 2 eyewitness these kids or call the law and ask them if they could ride by 2 try 2 catch them in action--i wouldn't stoop 2 there level and do what they're doing b/c they may try 2 get u n trouble but,good luck with this matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's totally wrong for you to take the law into your hands.
That would only serve to escalate the problem situation.
The only proof the police need is your complaint/witness.
They may choose not to act, given their other priorities.
Can your parents not talk to their neighbours?

The old saying what goes around comes around....Man don't stoop to that level keep a level head, get pictures or another wittiness, They will get caught. They will beat you at their own game if you retaliate.

Don't shoot back, cause then your no differant and could be in big trouble,, you need to take a photo or a witness, not a family witness. and call the police.. they need a big lesson..

no don't shoot there windows!!!! they will know it is you! Shoot them. get a bunch of friends at night dress up in black w/ ski masks etc. go outside that punks window and brake it with a brick while he is jakin' off and FIRE!!!!! that'll teach the brats. and every time you see him outside alone or with those punks shoot!
that made me feel good =)
oh and video camera opf him crying + youtube + him seeing it = happy us=) just give us the url's when you do post one *wink*

You know if you call the cops they can write your family a ticket for having a car sitting on your lawn.
Is it on blocks?
Maybe they are shooting at it because they are tired of looking at a junk car...

First, don't do any shooting - that way you will lose all credibilty.
Second, hang around your window and get some footage - that should be enough proof.

I would think that being an eyewitness to them shooting out the windows would be enough to haul their delinquent asses to juvy.
