why not? It isn't a potent drug, no worse than tobacco or alcohol, not to mention, the government would make so much money on it. If it was regulated, then you wouldn't have to worry about it being laced. As long as you are 18, it should be legal to buy. I don't see why everyone thinks it is so bad, it is just all that anti-drug b.s. that has been pounded into our head since grade school.

No. Marijuana is OLD. Better drugs with less side effects can be synthesized. It's just we got too damn lazy smoking pot. I'm a recovering addict and wouldn't recommend anyone to use them. Drugs could have killed me. I admit though there are people who can handle marijuana there are more who cannot handle it, like people with mental problems, bi polars, and depressives for example, they don't even know they're bi polar. By making marijuana legal we're basically saying that anyone can do it, and at the same time you will be condoning any behavior the drug brings. Same thing with alcohol. Some people can take it and some can't. Addicts don't know they are addicts until they try drugs or alcohol, most of the time when they find out it's already too late. Anyone with an addictive personality or just the gene in them can become a statistic to drugs.

Yes, I do! I think it is less harmful than alcohol, first of all, and many studies have been done showing it is not as harmful like many people think. It has a lot of benefits for extremely ill people and also when used for recreation purposes, causes no severe or long term problems! The regulations of it could be to buy it and pay taxes on it and think how much cash our govt. would make fom it! they could regulate it by limiting how much you could buy in a month for instance.

Yes. Frito-Lay can make a fortune marketing the stuff. If it's not a problem, then we've solved the drug problem.

Regulate it like alcohol. No operating machinery or the cops will get you. Must be over the age of xxxx.

As soon as possible.

what a person takes into their body should be nobodies business but their own...as long as no other human is hurt.

Driving & working ... unless your job is researching the effects of marijuana on driving

Well I been smoking now for thirty years and it hasn't been legal, so I'd have to say I don't care if you legalize it or not.

NO!!!

some people might say that it is less impairing tha alcohol, which i disagree with, but lets say that is the case, it is harder to detect when someone is under the influence of marijuana than it is for alcohol (ie. Breathalyzer)
