To quote Vince Lombardi: "What da hell's goin' on out here?"
This is a serious blow to WWE, regardless of what people may think of Ric Flair.

Good for him! I never thought Ric was given the respect he deserved by WWE in the first place. He is the best wrestler ever! I've followed his career since the beginning and love that man, even though I really think he should retire for good before something happens to him - like a stroke or heart attack. He's getting too old to wrestle, but I'd love to see him be an announcer or manager. Anything to keep him in the business would be great!

Suprising news ...
I could see Flair in TNA ... Hopefully, he knows its time to retire and will take on an On-Air role with TNA (and not wrestle ... or have one, and ONLY ONE LAST MATCH against Sting for his retirement match).
However, I think we all know the WWE will never give Flair a release. He will sit out the remainder of his contract if the WWE can't smooth things over with Flair.

This is horrible if WWE loses Naitch I'm gonna have to start watching TNA! O.o If I was Vince I'd just give him what he wants. I mean we have rey and khali going for the title, Ric Flair is much better than that.

yeah WWE does not show respect for anyone anymore.....they are in it for the money......i hope Shane, Steph and Linda take over so that many issues may be resolved.......i hope the best to Ric Flair every which move he decides and that he gets the RESPECT he deserves....WWE is losing a great man and wrestler

flair wont go to TNA. he has been interested in retiring for a long time now so if he does leave WWE he is going to retire, i doubt TNA would give him a 6 month contract cause his plan was to retire at the next WM, this will just lead to early retirement.

i seen the Nature Boy debut on Mid-Atlantic wrestling a long time ago......i enjoyed it as a kid (cuz i thought it was cool) i knew he would become one of the icons of the sport.... even though i don't keep up with it much anymore i still enjoy the woooooooooo. the sport should by all rights honor and show respect to the ones that really started "The Show"

Cryme Tyme going to TNA.>Flair going to TNA.
It comes to a point where it's best to retire, you know?
Remember in the late 90's when WCW thought all they had to do is resurect old guys from the 80s to beat WWE? Hollywood Hogan was one thing, but Macho Man? Warrior?
TNA is in a position where they can create the superstars of tomorrow, why cart out the same old act that's been done for decades?
