given that h(x): x^2-4/x+2 @ x<-2
and : -4 @ x=-2
and : -2+x @ -2 Determine which of the following statements is true with regard to the continuity of h(x) at the point x = -2.
h(x) is continuous
h(x) has jump discontinuity
h(x) has a removable discontinuity

Again...calculate the left-hand and right-hand limits to see if they are equal. If they are, then f(x) is continuous; if not, then it isn't.

If the limits are the same, but the value at the point isn't equal to those limits then the discontinuity is "jump".

The words communicate with a technique used while attempting out equipment, many times quickly after shape. the object is substantially examined for connections between circuit factors. was carried out by using hand, then by using mattress of nails furniture (now days different techniques are used). The technique grew to become into called "Continuity attempting out". by using doing so, you may tell if the circuit is top under pressure. Continuity skill there's a connection between 2 factors. Discontinuity skill there is not any connection. the truthfully tool used varies. trouble-free attempting out could use a buzzer or an Ohm meter. mattress-of-nails could use a working laptop or pc.
