I'm an Aquarius. The German word for Aquarius is "Wasserman." The Wasserman test is a blood test for syphilis. I learned this by reading the punchline of a joke in MAD Magazine, many years ago when I was just a kid, and relearned it several years afterwards when I took a course in microbiology.

As the Aquarian thinks, so will the world - just give it another 50 years! Aquarius is always thought of as a dreamer but you are essentially a realist. You often shock conventional people because your calm and tranquil manner belies the fact that you like to defy public opinion. Often your mode of dress will give away your refusal to conform. You are a natural revolutionary. You are very interested in everything, a wide variety of subjects, yet you take a cool and impersonal approach. You are always analysing situations and people. This empathy stems from the fact that Aquarians are touched by genious - but there's a fine line between genuis and insanity and you have to be careful to walk that line. If you do indulge in these things you tend to keep your word and pay your bills on time. You have a broad outlook and are rarely bigoted. Everyone is your brother. You respect individuality in others and don't try to impose your own beliefs on them. You do have revolutionary beliefs which are deeply held, but prefer to leave the ranting and raving and fighting to others.

We are great communicators, highly intelligent, we often appear distant, but that's usually when we are checking you out very carefully.

I don't think that's one of the characteristics of that sign. Not
that they're stupid either. I'm married to a true Aquarian. They
are impulsive. They are generous and will give things to others without batting an eye. They are fun loving and friendly
and like to be the life of any party. Often choosing to be the
last to go home. I think the main drawback is that not always
do they finish things. Mine procrastinates, and it takes awhile
for him to finish any one thing. He tends to get carried away
with several things at a time. And he is smart, and he thinks
so too LOL. I often will ask him for an answer to something
and most often, he'll know it. Just because he watches more
news than I do,and reads more than I do also about politics
and current events. Sometimes it's hard to keep them
anchored and settled. They are often free spirits.
