I just saw a commercial for Subway where the sub was filled to the brim with meat and lettuce and tomatoes and the such. So I got a craving & went to Subway. But when I got my sub it was a mere 1 3/4" tall. You couldn't see any lettuce, or tomatoes, or cucumbers, or MEAT showing out the sides. Over $5 for a 6" meal, what a joke. Just wanted to put that out there....

I know exactly what you mean. Seems like the price goes up every week, but the subs keep getting smaller.

I use to work at Subway like 16 yrs ago and the prices weren't as bad as they are now but the food sure tasted better. And I usually gave a little extra when I could because I thought there should be more.

You need to find a better sandwich artist. I make sure I have the meat hanging a bit over the sides, along with all the veggies. I make pretty sandwiches :) And I really pack on the veggies.

Food never looks the same as they do for print or TV ads. I work for Mc Donald's and the picture for our displays for the Big Mac are not how they are actually supposed to be put tpgether. Of course their food looks good on TV. It take them hours to prepare it for the camera...kind of like how a woman will primp herself for a date, but after a few months together she lets her true colors show.

thats why they charge extra for double meat...still comes out the same price as quiznos so it's actually still a decent deal
