I'm kind of freaking out right now. Me and my girlfriend have just started having sex. This was only our second time. She has been on birth control for a month. She has a few pills left but they're the sugar pills. Just 4 of them left. I was using a condom and it kinda broke. I don't think I got any inside her. Should I be freaking out. The worst thing is she's supposed to miss her period this month. What should I do? I was thinking plan B but its pretty expensive and we're not even sure if it's needed. Help me.

The reason she's not supposed to go on her period is because its her first month on it. The doctor told her it would make her not have it on the first month.

Were both college students. Once we graduate I have no doubt we could pay for once since were both in the computer field but its just the fact that were not ready for kids.

the same thing happened to me when i first started having sex, i would recommend taking the plan b to be safe, and the plan b isnt nearly as expensive as a kid. but don't freak out, my bf of the time did and it made me feel like i would be on my own if things didnt turn out. good luck!

Plan B is sold over the counter at pretty much all Rite Aid's and only costs 30 bucks so its really affordable. Its the most effective within the first 72 hours so if youre gonna get it, i would go as soon as possible. Birth control takes about 3 months to become effective so even just as a precaution i think you should pick up the Plan B pill. Like someone else said, most clinics will give it to you for free if youre a student and can show ID.
Good luck

You should be fine, as long as you arent worried about STD's. But she shouldnt be missing her period if she is taking the one with sugar pills.... They are there so you have your period. If you want to get plan B to make yourself feel better, it could never hurt. But I'm pretty sure you are safe between the BC and a condom. But try and figure out what kind she is on, because when you have sugar pills, you are supposed to have your period.

If she has been taking her birth control every day like she is supposed to, you should be fine. She could always take a pregnancy test a few days after her missed period (even if she isn't supposed to get it this month). That way you can put both of your minds at ease. I wouldn't think that the possibility of her being pregnant is very high though.
Relax :)

Theres is a possibility that she could get pregnant, I think you should talk to her about going to the teen clinic and asking for Plan B, it's free from the clinic. She has up to 5 days to take Plan B. The clinic will probably give 2 packs of the Plan B, along with a few dozen condoms. I hope this helped, and I hope everything turns out fine for you guys.

1 month is not really long enough to be safe from using the pill, glad to hear your using condoms also. My concern is your plan B which you do not say but mention is expensive. call me a prude but you should not be having sex if you are not prepared to take on the responsibilities that come along with that.
It only takes 1 time to have a baby, but try not to freak out over it. It won't solve anything. And do some heavy praying!!

If you are that worried, get the Plan B at your local Planned Parenthood, its about $30. There is always a chance. But why is she not supposed to have her period this month? That isn't normal....but I would say you have nothing to worry about, but there's always that chance, and if you decide on Plan B, the sooner she takes it the more effective!!! Good luck

Settle down and wait. You should be okay. If you're going to get this freaked out, maybe you should abstain from sex. It's a lot cheaper than the pretty expenisve Plan B.

you need to be on birthcontrol pills a lot longer than one month for them to kick in. at least you are trying to be responsible . you can get a pregnancy test from a pharmacy . I hope you two are old enough to know what you are doing because if she does get pregnant , your life is going to change for the worse.
