ok, so it really hurts my balls. i wear a groin gaurd and baggy trousers yet it still hurts. it's kind of like a bad ache when i'm on a straight path. but when i'm doing other things, even just going over a mound it can be a sharp pain. sometimes bad. sometimes i cant even carry on, i just have 2 stop. at first my brother said it's because i w a n k 2 much ( i think he was joking but now im wondering, does he have a point? i do it on a daily basis) then he said its probably because i lean forward 2 much. but i don't know. all i know is that it leaves me feeling bruised afterwards. i'm thinking about giving up completley. it hurts!

I used to have this same problem, and NO it isnt because you **** it too much. What you need is to wear some good fitting riding pants, not the baggy jeans or stuff like that. Also get a good pair of compression shorts. The compression shorts help tremendously!!!!

also, you may need to change your riding style. Try to lean back a little more, or just stand up.....
Good luck.....

Hello Anon.

The above advice all seems pretty good - especially the part about seeing a Doctor - it's a good idea to be sure there isn't a physical reason behind the pain and you will know if it's your technique that need attention (or your crown jewels!)

As for spanking the monkey - I would ignore your brother - once a day isn't excessive for a young (and quite a few older guys - and gals) so untill you find the biker chick of your (wet) dreams - knock yourself out!

Good luck with the off roading.

Get yourself some padded bike shorts and see if that cures the problem, they are used mostly for peddle bikes but should work well in your situation. They are thickly padded.

you dont necessarily need tighter pants, but I always ride with a good pair of riding pants and compression shorts. what you need to do is not lean forward so much. sit more on the back of your *** and support yourself more with your legs. it always helps to ride on the balls of your feet(the round part before the arch). dont give up riding man, its the greatest thing you'll experience. just stick with it and try making slight adjustments to your back and butt positioning. good luck and ride on

Pick a better groin guard. it should be comfortable when you use it.
