He will make the GOP look even worse. So I don't see them doing anything except telling him to go.

There is an ethics investigation started against him which would be stopped if he resigns but taken up again if he doesn't. And he has already been stripped of all his committee assignments. I think he will be shunned by the rest of the Republicans who feel he is bringing embarassment to their party.

The people of his district I suppose could petition for a recall election. I think the whole thing is all just silly.

The GOP would probably nominate another candidate to replace him.

He will become an icon of all those who like to have anonymous gay sex in public restrooms. I'm sure he will be a hero to Idaho voters.
