I have a book on banana slugs. It doesn't tell much about that kind of stuff it tells about their sexual habits. The penis of a banana slug is the size of its body. They are hermaphidites. They must mate with a slug their own size. If their penis gets stuck (and it often does) they eat their own penis off.
