I'm not trying to be biased or predjuice here, but I was just curious as to why teenage girls are so obsessed with men they cannot have.

Do boys do it as much, just we don't realize it?

Human nature. We covet things we don't have; the less likely we are to get it, the more attractive it seems.

Probably (although we don't really fantasize about marriage, children, etc.) along the lines of "Jessica Alba's so damn hot. I mean, my God."

They're probably just attracted to them. I am one of those girls. I like about 10 guys that are 10 years older than me. And they're celebrities.
For me, I'm just not attracted to anyone around me and don't want to deal with having a boyfriend this young. So I concentrate on guy celebrities.
But bottom line, they're probably just attracted to them.

Yes boys and girls do it the same, just they don't show it as much. I for one (when I was a teenager) never got obsessed with any guy. I had a relationship all during high school, it lasted for about 5 and a half years.

Guys do the same thing. Otherwise, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue would've tanked after the second or third year.

Don't worry if you're one of the nice guys you'll eventually get the girl. It just takes us a little while to figure out which guys are good for us.

It's not girls, it's beeyotches. And why do men fall for their seductions and blame the woman? Did they forget they have the ability to say "NO! This d*ck belongs to my woman, and YOU'LL never taste it as long as I'm with her. Be gone, homewrecker!" There! That wasn't so difficult, was it?
*seethe seethe seethe*
I caint stand homewrecking tramps, or men who don't say no.

I ask that same question to myself,
why do I almost kill myself over
this one boy at my school that I KNOW I can't
have. Stupid me, I guess.

I actually read a fact somewhere that it's
proven that guys talk more about girls,
than girls talk about guys. It really is true.
Odd, I know.

We're all teenagers, man. We're all the same, I think. :) Girls are usually a bit more honest about their emotions than guys. Not always, but usually.
