It's possible. Sometimes people who might be right for each other get married too young. They are too immature, needy or selfish to make a good go of it.
Sometimes later, it happens that they get together again when they are more mature and more willing to compromise. After experiences with other people they discover the ex wasn't so bad after all. So yes it is possible.

i think much of it depends on how young you were when you hooked up. if you were very young, it can leave so much room for growth but not always in the same direction. Also, if there was a lot of pain surrounding the divorce, it can make "rekindling" that love difficult. You somehow have to fall in love with the people you are now, not who you used to be. It's an up hill climb for sure. Be clear on why you want him back, emotion doesn't always serve us well. Good Luck, S

WHY on EARTH would he do that if he is your EX? Probably ran like HELLLLL to a secret, remote part of the world never to be heard from again.
