She told me there were only 3 races in the world. Black, White, and Asian. I asked her where the people of the latina race fit and she said black. Since they have darker skin tones.
I thought about it but I don't think that is true because some Asians have dark skin tones that would technically make them black in her definition while some middle easterns are technically white.
But then again, my teacher's a bit of an idiot who likes to torment her students with nonsense.

Yes, your teacher was correct. The three races recognized by science are *******, Caucasoid, and mongoloid. And of course other peoples fall into one of those catagories. such as mexicans would be classified as ******* just because their not white, and their not asian. Look it up.
Oh, and native americans would be Mongoloid because they are descendents of inuit type asians that migrated to the north america thousands of years ago. Look that up too.

She is an idiot. She's forgetting Native Americans too. She's only doing this the same way people pronounce historical events differently to sound new and original.

I think it is true. Some people would say Mexican but Mexican isn't really a race. It is mixed from different indian and native backgrounds. I guess when you think of it, it's true. Whites are mixed with different things such as Irish, English, etc. When it all comes down to it people just call them "white"....It all depends on how you view it I guess.
