This is in the form (a + b)*(a - b) so it's a² - b² with
a = 2x^(3/4) and b = y^(1/2) and you get
4x^(3/2) - y

(2x^3/4 + y^-1/2)(2x^3/4 - y^-1/2)
-----v---------v----------v------------v
(4*√2x^3 - √y) (4*√2x^3 + √y)
------V-----------------V---------------
4*√4x^6 - y
= 4x^6/4 - y
= 4x^3/2 - y

Simplified. (By the way, 4*√, means the four is inside the square root sign)
**Good luck Hope this helped you!
