factor it and see what you get.

150 = 5*30 = 5*5*6 = 5*5*2*3

Doesn't look too good. I think you will just have to keep it that way.

150 = 2*3*5*5
Not if you must work with integers.

150 = 4*4*4*2.34375
then (using rational numbers):
cube root of 150 = cube root of 64 * cube root of 2.34375
= 4 * cube root of 2.34375
2.34375 = 75/32
Unless your problem needs a denominator of 32, this is not much help (32 is not a cube, but it is a fifth power)
