Well. . . .a product that always works is called Grease Lighting. My mom uses it on everything from really dirty socks to blood stains. You can buy it at Wal mart. You spray the area on the pillow with this product and you can let it sit there for a while like 2-3 minutes, or you can rub it in a motion, and it will eventually take it off (maybe in 2 minutes). Then, rinse it off with warm water!
Good luck:)

Hydrogen peroxide. No kidding. Pour a little peroxide on the blood spot and let it sit for a minute. It will foam up and then you can rinse it with cold water, add some Spray n Wash stain stick and throw them in the washer. DON'T wash blood in hot water and if it doesn't come out the first time, do it over but make sure not to dry it if you're going to try it again. It works great.

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

it works great on ANY and all ORGANIC stains on fabric, carpeting & upholstery! Just pour on & watch it foam out the stain!

AMMONIA

I keep a bottle of ammonia above my washer & use this directly on blood stains (even ones that have been sitting a long time) BUT DO NOT USE AMMONIA WITH BLEACH in the same load. Just pour ammonia on blood stain, put in washer for a few minutes to "soak" before adding water & soap as usual. If the stain docent come out, repeat steps above. Check to make sure the stain came out BEFORE putting it in the dryer, as the dryer sets the stain.
