Yes when i was staying in the lowery hotel in manchester i forgot my card, and i had by robe on, so i got somone couple of doors away to call for someone to let me in.

yep! did it last month...thankfully the girl behind the desk was from my home town and remembered me checking in the day before! she let me in with another room key! phew!
