IN OTHER WORDS; It has been my Experience that DRINKING BEER (Being under the Influence) Is the Only Time I CRY! Why is that? Because you're probably an emotionally repressed person, and the use of alcohol makes it harder for you to repress your emotions. Men are particularly vulnerable to repressing emotions that society may see as "feminine" (such as crying.) Alcohol affects the balance of neurotransmitters in the brain (mainly GABA and dopamine). The effect is initially pleasurable, but the more alcohol you drink, the more the pendulum swings in the opposite direction. Those who are under the influence are less able to control their impulses and emotions.

Drinking an alcoholic beverage helps release your inner feelings that you ordinarily repress. Everyone feels depressed, upset, annoyed, disappointed or unhappy perhaps a little sad at times and you consciously deny these feelings until you have that drink.

Try to deal with the fluctuations of your feelings without reaching for the beer because life is full of feelings that you have to learn to deal with.

my opinion is that all your berriers are broken when you are drunk and under the influence...so it gives you the freedom to do things tht you can't do when you are sober and subconciously tring to supress everything....any mind altering substance will break down your beriers and give you this result.....i have studied psychology since the 9th grade and have a lot of first hand experiences with different psycological disorders and things...

Actaully alcohol is a depressant....and a diuretic...so in addition to crying, you will be losing a lot of fluid and become dehydrated.

Kind of sucks all around, huh?

Alcohol lowers your inhibitions so you aren't as embarrassed about crying. I am a mental health counselor.
